Tomáš is a technology strategist and developer through and through. Since 2003, he has gone through all levels of web development – ​​from design and UX to programming and architecture of large solutions. He has been at iMPROVE since the very beginning and, as the first employee, shaped the company’s technical culture. His specialty is connecting modern technologies with thoughtful design so that the result works equally well for the business and the user.

What do you do at iMPROVE?

I am the CTO and Tech Lead at iMPROVE, where I lead technical development and project architecture. I specialize in full-stack development with an emphasis on modern technologies - currently, I work mainly with Next.js and Laravel. I manage technical solutions for our clients and ensure that our projects use the best available technologies and practices. I combine my backend expertise with design skills, which allows me to create complex digital solutions.

What did you do before iMPROVE?

I have been involved in web development since 2003. As a freelancer, I have worked with various technologies and platforms, gradually specializing in Drupal since 2006. I have done everything – from programming to design to UX – and this versatility helps me create complex solutions today.

Why did you choose iMPROVE?

In 2008, I came across a job offer from iMPROVE and decided to respond to it. I was attracted by the opportunity to be part of building a professional digital agency from the beginning - I became the first employee of the company. The vision of creating a specialized agency focusing on quality web solutions was attractive to me. Marián and I have a great working and friendly relationship, which creates an ideal environment for creativity and innovation. The opportunity to shape the technical culture of the company and grow with it was the reason why I am still at iMPROVE today.

Who is Tomáš outside of iMPROVE?

The most important thing for me is family - I like to spend my free time with my wife and children. I am a technology enthusiast who devotes his free time to 3D printing and various DIY projects. These hobbies keep me in touch with the latest trends and often bring ideas to my work. I like to experiment with new technologies and gadgets, so I do not completely disconnect from technology even outside of working hours.

Do you have any unique skills?

My main advantage is my many years of experience in web development since 2003, during which I have gone through the evolution of various technologies and frameworks. This gives me a unique perspective in their selection, architectural design and project implementation from concept to successful delivery. I am able to combine technical precision with a sense of design, which helps create solutions that are not only functional, but also aesthetically pleasing.
