Lukáš has been a stable part of iMPROVE since 2008. As a frontend developer, he transforms designs into functional code and takes websites to the next level - whether it's speed, accessibility or overall user experience. With his work, websites not only look good, but also achieve high scores in Lighthouse and meet WCAG standards.

What do you do at iMPROVE?

My main focus is front-end development - I transform designs into functional code, optimize websites for people with disabilities and improve performance and page loading speed. I enjoy not only visually moving websites, but also tuning them so that they meet strict technical standards and pass every test in Chrome Lighthouse.

I have dedicated most of my professional career to Drupal, but in recent years I have also been working increasingly with Next.js, which brings a modern approach and performance to projects.

What did you do before iMPROVE?

Before iMPROVE, I was a student - but even then I was drawn to websites more than textbooks. I enjoyed trying out new technologies and playing with Drupal, so when the chance came to join iMPROVE, I didn't hesitate. Practically right after school, I swapped desks for real projects and have stayed here ever since. You could say that I grew up at iMPROVE - I grew from a beginner to a frontend developer with a lot of websites and experience behind me.

Why did you choose iMPROVE?

I have been working at iMPROVE almost from the very beginning. At the end of 2008, I joined a team that was building a digital agency from the ground up. Even during school, I had a clear idea of ​​the direction I wanted to take my career, and iMPROVE gave me the space to grow, learn, and advance technologically.

Who is Lukáš outside of iMPROVE?

First and foremost, I am a father and husband. I spend my free time with my loved ones and doing chores around the house. Sports are a great passion for me. In 2024, I founded an amateur hockey club in the CHL, to which I devote a significant part of my free time.

In addition, you can also meet me at municipal meetings in Nováčany, where I serve as a member of parliament.

Do you have unique skills?

I am calm even in hectic situations - not even the children at home can upset me. I fine-tune websites until they meet all standards.

And outside of work, I'm a big DIYer - if you need advice on how to do something around the house, I'm happy to help. I've already built a house from the ground up, so I'm not afraid of any challenge in this area.
